Painting people is the most challenging task of all
subjects, especially based on a photo. Once you can paint people, nothing you
cannot paint. Because the people on the picture are either you or your loved
ones, you will immediately tell a good oil painting from a bad one. No matter
how far away from your exact photo, the oil painting must have some recognizable
features of the person on the photo. For this reason, we have priced people oil
painting higher than that of buildings, animals, still life, and landscape. Due
to the nature of oil painting and photo, you can expect that painting is similar
to your photo but never can be identical. The oil painting represents an
artist's point view of your photo and some features might be omitted for a
